How we work

We’re early. So here’s exactly how we work.

We don’t have a wall of client logos yet, and we won’t borrow credibility we haven’t earned. What we can show you is the way every engagement runs: specific enough to check, and specific enough to hold us to.

Approach

Why there’s no case-study wall on this page.

3Anomaly is a new agency. The three of us behind it are not new to the work: each has spent more than ten years in brand, digital or growth, on both the agency and the in-house side.

We could dress that up with borrowed logos or invented projects. We’d rather give you something you can actually verify: the process we follow, the rate we charge, the terms we offer and the people you’ll speak to. If a portfolio is a dealbreaker today, that’s fair, and we’d rather you knew now.

What you can check instead

  • The process on this page, stage by stage
  • Our rate: ₹2,500 an hour, logged and itemised
  • Our terms: three months minimum, then month to month
  • The people: you work with the founders directly
  • Our concept work on the homepage, clearly labelled as concepts

One team. One weekly sync. One shared metric.

Most agency relationships get complicated because nobody owns the whole result. Ours is built the other way round.

01

One retainer, three disciplines.

You don’t sign three contracts, brief three teams or manage three Slack channels. Branding, designing and growth decisions are made together, by the people doing the work.

₹2,500

per hour

Logged, not estimated.

Every cycle you see an itemised log of what was worked on, by whom, and for how long.

03

We report what moved.

Not what looks good in a chart. If a number can’t be tied to your goal, it doesn’t lead our report.

04

No lock-in after month three.

There’s a three-month minimum, because meaningful work needs time. After that, you stay because it’s working.

Seven stages, and what you’ll see at each.

The same stages run through every engagement, whether it’s a new identity, a website or a growth programme. What changes is how long each one takes.

01

Understand

We learn the business, audience, market, category and ambition, looking for what matters and what’s been taken for granted.

You’ll see: The questions before each interview, then a plain summary of what we heard, including the uncomfortable parts.

02

Define

We identify the problem underneath the brief: what needs to change, what should stay and where the real opportunity is.

You’ll see: A one-page problem statement we agree together before any creative work starts.

03

Explore

We develop different strategic and creative territories. Not endless options: enough to understand what has potential and why.

You’ll see: Two or three genuinely different directions, each with its trade-offs written down.

04

Create

Strategy becomes something tangible: identity, website, campaign, content, experience or system.

You’ll see: Work in progress early, shown in the real context it will live in rather than on a blank slide.

05

Refine

The first idea is rarely the final answer. We challenge the work, remove what’s unnecessary and strengthen what matters.

You’ll see: Focused review rounds, built around one consolidated set of feedback from your side.

06

Launch

The work leaves the presentation and enters the real world. That’s where it has to prove itself.

You’ll see: A launch checklist covering tracking, redirects, access and handover, so nothing is left to chance.

07

Learn

Performance, feedback and behaviour tell us what happens next. What we learn feeds the next Understand.

You’ll see: A review against the shared metric, and a clear recommendation for the next cycle.

Your first 30 days, in writing.

No mystery onboarding. This is what the first month looks like.

Day one

The Growth Audit call

Forty-five minutes, no pitch deck. We ask what’s actually broken and tell you honestly whether we’re the right team.

Before anything starts

A scope and an hours estimate

A real number tied to the ₹2,500 hourly rate, with what’s included and what isn’t.

Kickoff

Access, goals and one shared metric

We agree the number we’ll both watch, and get access to the tools and people we need.

Within two weeks

First deliverables

Real work, not a strategy deck about future work.

Every week

One sync and an itemised log

Thirty minutes with the leads doing the work, plus a record of every hour spent.

End of month one

The first cycle review

What moved, what didn’t, and what we’d change next.

Things we won’t do, even when it would be easier.

Promise a launch date before we’ve scoped the work

A date without a scope is a guess, and guesses turn into rushed work.

Hand your account to a junior after the sales call

The people you meet are the people who do the work.

Report vanity metrics as if they were revenue

Impressions and followers are only useful when they lead somewhere.

Start with the logo

The logo is rarely the problem. Positioning usually is.

Invent case studies to look bigger

We’re new, and we’ll say so. Concept work is always labelled as concept work.

Lock you in beyond the minimum term

If it isn’t working after three months, you should be free to leave.

What people ask about how we work.

What happens on the Growth Audit call?

Forty-five minutes, no pitch deck. We ask what you’re trying to achieve, what has already been tried and where things are getting stuck. You leave with our honest read of the problem, even if we end up not working together.

Can we start with just one discipline?

Yes. Plenty of clients start with branding, designing or growth on its own. We’ll still tell you if we think the real constraint sits in one of the other two, because that’s usually where results get stuck.

How do you work with our in-house team?

Alongside them, not around them. Your team keeps ownership of its work; we add senior strategy and specialist skills, share everything we produce and keep one weekly sync so nothing gets lost between us.

Who actually does the work?

The three founding leads. If a project needs a specialist we don’t have in-house, such as a photographer or a native-app engineer, we tell you who they are and why before they start.

How will we know if it’s working?

We agree one shared metric at kickoff and review it every cycle, alongside an itemised log of hours. If something isn’t moving, you’ll hear it from us first, with what we’d change.

What if we want to stop?

After the three-month minimum you’re month to month. Everything we’ve made is documented and handed over, so stopping doesn’t leave you with work you can’t use.

Hold us to this page.

Everything above is how we’ll work with you. Start with a 45-minute Growth Audit and ask us to prove any of it.
