Creative Agency for Branding, Designing & Growth

We help ambitious businesses figure out what they should stand for, how they should look and sound, and how people should find and choose them. Based in Pune, we work with businesses across Pune, Mumbai and the rest of India.

As a creative agency, we bring brand strategy, identity, web design and growth into one connected system.

Move your cursor. Every triangle follows, except one. It’s the first of three anomalies hidden on this page: one for Branding, one for Designing, one for Growth.

Branding · Designing · Growth · Beyond normal

Your identity may no longer fit the business.

You may be entering a market where your old positioning doesn’t carry.

Your website may be telling the wrong story.

Or the brand may be fine, but nobody is finding it.

That’s where we come in.

We start by figuring out what is actually getting in the way. Then we bring in the right combination of branding, design and growth to fix it.

You don’t get three separate teams handing work to each other.

You get one team looking at the whole thing.

Small team. Senior people. No unnecessary layers.

3Anomaly is a new agency. The people behind it aren’t. Between the three founders, we bring 30+ years of combined experience across brand strategy, creative, digital, marketing and growth.

We keep the team deliberately small so the people who understand the problem are the people doing the work.

Ways to approach the problem before settling for the obvious answer

These numbers aren’t there to make us look bigger. They’re there to explain how we’re structured.

Start with the problem, not the service list.

Most creative agencies start by telling you what they sell.

Branding. Web design. SEO. Content. Marketing.

We’d rather start with what isn’t working.

Seven things we hear most. Pick the one that sounds like you.

Our job is to understand the problem first, then determine what the business actually needs. That might be brand work. It might be digital. It might be growth. Often, it’s a combination.

Branding, designing and growth aren’t separate problems.

A creative agency doesn’t have to treat these disciplines as separate problems. A brand exists in people’s heads. Digital is where much of that perception is formed. Growth is how people discover, evaluate and act on the business. Separating those things completely doesn’t make much sense to us.

Branding

Decide what the business should stand for.

We help businesses find the idea that should hold the brand together then build the identity around it.

Designing

Turn the brand into an experience.

A brand doesn’t stop at the identity files. We design websites and digital experiences that make the positioning visible, understandable and easy to use.

Growth

Make it easier for the right people to find you.

Search, content, AI visibility, conversion and analytics all affect how a brand gets discovered and evaluated. We connect growth work to the brand and the experience instead of treating it as a separate marketing function.

The thinking matters. The work proves it.

We don’t want our portfolio to become a gallery of pretty images with three sentences underneath. Each project should show the problem, the thinking, the decisions, and the final expression.

Work in progress. We’re building 3Anomaly in public, one project at a time. Some of the work we’re developing right now comes from client engagements. Some comes from experiments, concepts, and self-initiated projects. We’ll show the work when it’s worth showing.

Part 1

The problem

What was actually wrong, beneath the brief.

Part 2

The thinking

The territories explored, and why most were left behind.

Part 3

The decisions

What changed, what stayed, and the reasoning behind each call.

Part 4

The expression

The final identity, site or system, working in the real world.

No filler projects. No invented case studies. No stock “client” logos.

Clients

Real clients, and exactly what we did for them.

Real engagements only. Each client is listed with the work they bought from us, nothing more, and links to the work itself so you can judge it.

What we did

  • Logo design
  • Website design

“When I saw the website for the first time, I was genuinely impressed. It feels like my practice: calm, warm and trustworthy. The logo and the site explain what I do better than I ever could, and the team listened to every detail along the way.”

Sample work · Concepts

Six industries. Six briefs we wrote ourselves.

Client work takes time to become showable. In the meantime, we practise in public: self-initiated concepts for fictional businesses, taken through the same process we’d use on a real brief. Each one is labelled as a concept, because that’s what it is.

Every concept looks different on purpose. The goal is for each brand to look like itself, not like us.

The process starts before the design.

A good creative solution isn’t necessarily the most unusual one. It’s the one that solves the right problem in a way that feels specific to the business.

Step 1 of 7

Understand

We learn the business, audience, market, category, and ambition, looking for what matters and what’s been taken for granted.

Step 2 of 7

Define

We identify the problem underneath the brief: what needs to change, what should remain, and where the real opportunity is.

Step 3 of 7

Explore

We develop different strategic and creative territories. Not endless options: enough to understand what has potential and why.

Step 4 of 7

Create

Strategy becomes something tangible: identity, website, campaign, content, experience, system.

Step 5 of 7

Refine

The first idea is rarely the final answer. We challenge the work, remove what’s unnecessary, and make the important things stronger.

Step 6 of 7

Launch

The work leaves the presentation deck and enters the real world. That’s where it has to prove itself.

Step 7 of 7

Learn

Performance, feedback, and behaviour tell us what happens next. The brand becomes a living system, not something archived after launch.

↺ What we learn feeds the next Understand.

Seven convictions that shape the work – What we believe

Strategy should make the work better.

If the strategy doesn’t change a creative decision, it wasn’t useful.

Good design has a job.

Looking good is not enough. Someone should understand something, feel something or do something because of it.

Different isn’t a strategy.

Being unusual only matters when there’s a reason for it.

The website is part of the brand.

You shouldn’t need one agency to build the identity and another to make it work online.

Growth should inform creative.

Performance data can tell us what people understand, what they ignore and where friction exists.

Small teams can produce bigger thinking.

Provided the people in the room actually know what they’re doing.

Not every problem needs more marketing.

Sometimes it’s positioning. Sometimes it’s the product. Sometimes it’s the experience. Sometimes the answer is to stop doing something.

Three founders. Three disciplines. One studio.

We don’t believe in hiding the people doing the work behind an agency logo.

Knowing what to leave out is part of the job.

We don’t

Start with the logo.

The logo is usually not the problem.

We don’t

Create strategy for the sake of creating strategy.

If it doesn’t change a decision, it doesn’t belong in the process.

We don’t

Hide behind account management.

You should be able to talk to the person solving your problem.

We don’t

Manufacture credibility.

We’re new. We’ll say we’re new.

We don’t

Fill portfolios with meaningless projects.

A smaller portfolio with real thinking behind it is more useful than a giant gallery of disconnected visuals.

We don’t

Force every client into our aesthetic.

The goal isn’t for every 3Anomaly project to look like a 3Anomaly project. The goal is for every client’s work to feel like their brand.

Beyond normal

“Beyond Normal” isn’t about

  • Making everything weird.
  • Adding animation because animation looks impressive.
  • Choosing an unconventional colour because conventional colours feel safe.

Is there a better answer than the obvious one?

Sometimes the answer is yes. Sometimes the obvious answer is actually the right one. We’re interested in the difference between the two.

Things we’re thinking about.

A creative agency should have a point of view beyond the work it sells. This is where we’ll document what we’re learning, testing, and questioning.
